It is not a performance upgrade kit. It is intended for use when cutting old pushrods and replacing Tensioner Shoes without Gas Tank and Rocker Cover Removal.
The tool is used to remove and replace the tensioner shoes from the spring tensioner. Some 2006 models use Hydraulic Tensionsers, Make sure you have the spring tensioners if you have a 2006. Replace the Tensioner Shoes, not the Tensioners. Adjustable Pushrods, Tube and O Ring Kit.
