BMW RnineT Oil Cooler Cover - Satin Black powder coat finish. This is the standard `raw` stainless steel oil cooler cover but powder coated in Satin B. Lack - and in my humble opinion looks better!Its also shown with the front crud catcher. This is an oil cooler guard to protect against damage to the delicate radiator fins themselves by stopping any significant debris likely to cause damage. The guard itself is made from high quality stainless steel and is 1.2mm thick (unlike cheaper thinner ones currently available elsewhere). The guard DOES NOT use plastic tie wraps to attach to the radiator itself unlike cheaper ones currently available elsewhere!
Instead it uses a back fold to hold it in place and locating holes on the top which use existing fastening points (so there is no drilling). The back fold comes with some neoprene padding so that it does not mark the rear of the radiator as shown in the image. This design also eliminates any rattles which might be caused from cheaper alternatives held in place with tie wraps. It is comparatively difficult (and expensive) to make due to the detail and each one is hand finished to make sure it is smooth to the touch. This item is not mass produced or designed to be as cheap as possible. Very easy to fit in minutes and with an occasional wipe with a rag with WD40 on it will remain in good condition for many years. BMW RnineT Black Front Engine Protector - Satin Black powder coat finish.
