Honda CB500 CB550 CB750 Kokusan Electronic Ignition
This is a Genuine Japanese Kokusan Electronic Ignition to suit the Honda CB500 CB550 and CB750 Fours. No more adjusting and replacing points and condensers. Install this electronic ignition to eliminate the entire points and condensers assembly.
This electronic ignition comes with an aluminum rotor that replaces the stock rotor on the spark advancer. The stock spark advancer is still used, just the rotor is replaced. The ignition taps into the stock wiring harness very easily, with 4 bullet connectors. It receives power from the rear brake switch black lead.
This electronic ignition uses hall effect sensor technology. Works with stock coils, or aftermarket replacements, or any other coils between 2.5 - 5 ohms is best. Make sure the main switch is off and the battery positive lead is disconnected and secured, before installing. Ideally you want to have a good running bike before installing an electronic ignition. Comes with ignition trigger plate, aluminum rotor and detailed installation instructions with photos.
