Big Block and Super Pro Piston Kit. These pistons are manufactured in Cocoa Florida using the highest quality aluminum alloy. Each piston is subjected to a battery of quality control checks to assure uniformity and high quality.
Some of the world's fastest motorcycles are equipped with MTC Engineering pistons. This MTC Engineering Big Block and Super Pro piston kit contains the following: (4) 83 or 85mm aluminum forged pistons. Pistons are available in 7.8:1 compression for turbo applications, 10.5:1 compression ratio for street applications and 13.5:1 compression ratio for drag racing applications. (4) Hard chromed wrist pins. (4) Sets of 83 or 85mm rings.(with three piece oil ring) (8) Teflon buttons sized for a 83 or 85mm bore. (buttons take the place of circlips) (1) Cometic one piece copper head gasket. (1) Cast Aluminum Big Block.
Complete with (4) Los Angeles Sleeve Company sleeves. The Big Block has been surface top and bottom, bored and honed to match your choice of pistons and has had copper o'rings installed. This is every part required to make your bike a screamer. If you have ever seen what a dislodged circlip can do to a piston and cylinder, you would never use them again.
Your cost includes everything shown in the picture. This piston kit will fit Kawasaki Z1, KZ900 and KZ1000 models. This covers all models from 1973 through 1980. The pistons in the picture are 13.5:1 compression ratio. The pistons are available with either 17mm or 18mm wrist pins.
